With the Jordan Series 01 Dear Larry, the Jordan Brand celebrates the legacy Michael Jordan left on the court – a brief but iconic legacy that packs a punch.
The Jordan Series 01 tells the story of how MJ became the GOAT. Crafted with a vulcanized midsole, the low-top sneaker features a tongue label and embroidery on the side of the shoe, symbolizing the letters MJ wrote to important people in his life.
Completing the shoe is a message etched into the rubber outsole telling the story of MJ's sporting battles with his older brother Larry. The shoe features a 45/2″ nod to the number they both wore until they ended up on the same team. So MJ got number 23 by dividing the 45 in half and saying if he could be half as good as Larry then everything would be fine.
