Nike presents us with a new version of what is probably the most popular colourway of the Air Jordan brand - the Jordan 1 Mid Alternate Bred. The Bred series is also known as a sneaker for rebels due to its history. Like many other silhouettes, the black and red sneaker has its origins on the basketball court. The sneaker was initially banned from the league because, in the eyes of the NBA President at the time, it did not comply with the strict uniform regulations. However, the brand with the Swoosh was undeterred by this and saw their chance to give the shoe some special attention. Nike took over the penalty for Michael Jordan, which was not exactly small at USD 5,000 per game and let the basketball player play with the Bred Colorway. The brand itself could not have come up with a better advertising strategy! The color variant quickly became a particular favorite of many fans and celebrities.
Now, with the Jordan 1 Mid Alternate Bred, a new model is coming onto the market that represents a cheaper alternative to the AJ1 High Bread from 2016. The sneaker is dressed in the well-known play of colors of black and red, which is rounded off by a white midsole. The primarily black upper alternates with many red highlights. In addition to the toe box, the laces, the Swoosh, the inner lining, the rubber sole and the collar are also in the bright color.
