Coming soon is Jacquemus' second design on a Nike silhouette, on an Air Force 1 affectionately dubbed the “J Force 1”. The Jacquemus Air Force 1 Low White, item number DR0424-100, comes in the colourway white/white/white and costs around 160 euros. By the way, the shoe should also come in black. The Jacquemus Nike Air Humara didn't fully convince us as the combination of Jacquemus' design with the Nike Humara seemed too chic overall for us. We're not entirely sure about the Air Force 1 either, especially given the Footscape Woven elements that are increasingly seen on Nike silhouettes. We wish Nike would go with a classic Footscape Woven and upgrade the silhouette with Jacquemus.
The Jacquemus Nike J Force 1 Low comes with a white upper. As expected, the boot comes with a mini Swoosh that looks to become Jacquemus' trademark with Nike . The shoelace dubrae says “JF1” instead of “AF1”. The most striking part of the shoe is the sole, which is woven around the shoe in a typical woven style. The outsole has a waffle gum profile, which makes the sneaker appear flatter than the regular Air Force 1. We don't really like this change, but our opinion might change once we see the shoe on foot.
When can you buy the new Nike sneaker?
According to other media reports, the Jacquemus Air Force 1 Low White will arrive in June 2023. Unfortunately, we don't have an official release date yet and therefore have to put you off. Since there are no official pictures of the Jacquemus Air Force 1 Low White yet, it is not listed anywhere. So all we can tell you so far is that the shoe will almost certainly be coming to the SNKRS app and jacquemus.com. It remains to be seen whether one or the other shop will also list the shoe.
