As you've probably heard, Nike are throwing out a few releases to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, and part of that is the Dunk Low Year of the Rabbit. You will find all important information about this release summarized in this article.

According to the Chinese calendar, 2023 is the year of the rabbit again. To commemorate this, Nike decided to make some releases on this theme. The collection so far includes a Jordan 1 Low, a Jordan 1 Elevate Low, a Jordan Legacy 312 and a Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT. A Dunk Low is now being added to this collection, with a design inspired by an iconic Air Force 1 Low, also designed in honor of the Year of the Rabbit in 2011.

Inspired by a traditional milk-cream flavored candy popular in China, the original Air Force 1 Year Of The Rabbit is colored white, red and blue to match the distinctive candy packaging. The fully see-through outsole mimics the transparency of the candy itself, while the chenille materials on the Swoosh and tongue logos are meant to represent the rabbit's furry nature. The Swoosh now uses exactly the same elements for the design of the Dunk Low, but adds an additional rabbit logo on the heel of the sneaker. The connection to the Air Force 1 is indulged by a 2011 lettering on the left sole.

When can you buy Nike sneakers?

Unfortunately, there is no official release date yet. We've been told that the Dunk Low will be in our shops as early as January.
