Over the years we've seen Nike's attempts to keep the dunk low silhouette from becoming boring. We don't mean new colorways or different materials. The Swoosh has tried several times to change one of their most popular models with modifications in the design. Does the Dunk Low Disrupt silhouette still mean something to you? The latest attempt to freshen up the 38-year-old model is called Twist and it looks very promising. With the Jade Ice Colorway, a really strong colorway will now appear on the Dunk Low Twist.

The updated design retains the general look of Peter Moore's 1985 creation. However, a closer look reveals some aesthetic changes that justify a $20 price increase.

Smooth leather frames a number of elements on the upper. The Summit White base is balanced by the Jade Ice tone that enlivens everything from forefoot to heel. There is a semi-transparent plastic buffer at the tip of the toe and in the lower heel area. Unlike the original Nike Dunk by Moore, the TPU component provides the "twist" of the sneaker. Elsewhere, raised branding on the tongue top and plastic detailing on the sidewalls further modernize the '80s basketball shoe. Unlike other versions, the Nike Dunk Low Twist maintains a standard sole.

When can you get the Nike sneaker?

We have to comfort you at this point that there is no official release date for the Dunk Low Twist Jade Ice yet. The only thing that is certain is that the Jade Ice Colorway will come, but unfortunately we can't confirm when exactly at the moment.
