The Boris Bidjan Saberi Salomon 11s Footwear collection is coming in a few days. Salomon has catapulted itself to a higher level in the industry thanks to the new wave of Gorpcore enthusiasts and collaborations with various high-end brands. In the past, the European brand has worked with German-born designer Boris Bidjan Saberi. Now they are releasing the Salomon 11s By Boris Bidjan Saberi Athletic Bouldering collection. Boris Bidjan Saberi brings two versions of the Salomon XT in a low-top version within his collection. The 11s Footwear AB1 is inspired by 25 years of bouldering and conveys visual and functional references to the sport through its unique shaft construction and choice of materials. The silhouette comes in an understated black (or white) hue, while the underlay around the midfoot and collar comes in a lighter shade of black. Nylon overlays zigzag across the midfoot and end near the lateral heel overlay, the latter housing text with co-branded details. Salomon's Quicklace system is used for lacing. Underfoot sits a chunky all-black (or white) foam midsole paired with a matching rubber outsole. The Black XT comes with the item number L47392600 and the Lunar Rock with the L47392500.
In addition to the shoes, there will also be apparel. A waterproof parka, trousers, a T-shirt, two backpacks and two pairs of socks in black and white. The prices are steep, the sneakers cost 300 euros, the parka 1000 euros, the pants 400 euros, the shirt and backpack over 200 euros and the socks cost 39 euros. Chapeau.
