The model is inspired by various influences from the traditional and modern performance running style. The upper is based on the GEL-NIMBUS 3 of the early 2000s, with design details of the MC-PLUS V. But not only that, the midsole also comes from the archive. It was inspired by the GEL-Cumulus 16. The end result: an exciting new silhouette that's finally getting its own inline releases. By the way, the first two colourways are called AWAKE and ASICS AWAKE ASICS Gel NYC Teal and Gel NYC Purple.
