The new model is inspired by various influences from the traditional and modern performance running style. The upper is similar to the GEL-NIMBUS 3 of the early '00s, with design details of the MC-PLUS V. The midsole is also from the archive. It is inspired by the GEL-Cumulus 16. The result: an exciting new silhouette that desperately deserves its own inline collection. The first two colourways from AWAKE and ASICS are called: AWAKE ASICS Gel NYC Teal and Gel NYC Purple .
