Black overlays were chosen above the sole unit, while the remaining overlays come in a dull brown. For the Swoosh and on the overlay below the laces, the titular slate blue was chosen, while the laces were designed in grey. Red elements can be found on the heel, the upper lace eyelets and the Nike logo on the tongue. The midsole picks up on the white of the mesh construction and the Nike Air Max is completed with a slate blue tread.
