The Air Max 1 was - as everyone should know by now - originally released in 1987 and designed by Tinker Hatfield. It was the sneaker that launched Nike 's Air Max line. Even though the 35th anniversary is now over, the celebration continues. Because the trendiest colourways continue to drop on the silhouette and THE highlight: the Air Max 1 OG Big Bubble 1986 is coming on March 26, for Air Max Day.

But the fun doesn't stop there, because soon the Air Max 1 CO JP Michigan will also hit the (virtual) shelves. A special Nike Air Max , it comes in a premium design aka "CO.JP" - which stands for "Concept Japan".
The sneaker comes with an upper made of Midnight Navy, Varsity Maize and Beige. The Air Max comes with a buttery soft leather base, nylon tongues and embroidered mini Swooshes on the lateral forefoot. The shoe is refined with Swooshes in a snakeskin look and crocodile-like fenders. Premium leather lining on a Sail midsole and yellow rubber outsole complete the design.

When can you buy the new Air Max?

The Air Max 1 CO JP Michigan is rumored to be released on April 14th. This has not yet been confirmed by Nike. According to the information we have so far, this is a women's sizing shoe.
