The 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1 is starting to heat up, with more and more unique colorways bubbling to the surface. Here the silhouette takes a DIY approach as it bathes its suede and canvas construction in light blue colourway. Due to the different texture, the cool tone adheres very differently to the two materials. The suede over the Swoosh and heel tab, for example, appears much darker than the rest of the construction. However, the mix of canvas, cotton and mesh is much closer tonally, its blue as if the shoe hadn't been dipped more than twice. Oddly enough, the sole breaks up the dipping a bit, as the midsole's white finish is pristine and not the color the rest of the shoe was dipped in.
