The founder of ALD, Teddy Santis, has been working as Creative Director at New Balance since 2021 and therefore it is very natural that the two brands work together and bring out a cooperation. After last year's New Balance 550 was revived by Aime Leon Dore, this year the cooperation will appear on the high-top version of the basketball silhouette.

New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore take on a high-top design after an overhaul that freshened up the classic P550 Basketball Oxford. Taking some inspiration from the 550, the 650 inherits the oversized proportions of the original basketball court model. A padded shaft with decorative stitching and a row of leather eyelets with an open edge complete the basketball look.
