Just like its Superstar counterpart, the adidas Forum Hanami was designed to commemorate the beginning of spring in Japan. Hanami means the Japanese tradition of celebrating the beauty of pink cherry blossoms. Said cherry blossom, sakura, only grows from the end of March to the beginning of May and is otherwise not seen all year round. Following on from this Japanese tradition, adidas has decided to celebrate this festival as well and has equipped two of its models with the sakura blossoms.

The special thing about this design is that these cherry blossoms look like embroidered blossoms on the white upper at first glance. As soon as it's warm outside, the sakura blossoms on the adidas Forum Mid will turn pink and the whole sneaker will be covered in pink blossoms. The rest of the design is then rather simple. As already mentioned, a white leather base was chosen for the upper, which was combined with a yellowed sole. You also have the option of exchanging the white laces for pink ones, which would harmonize perfectly with the pink flowers.

When can you buy the adidas Hanami?

The first shop has just confirmed the release of the adidas Forum Mid Hanami. That means the adidas Forum will come to our shops on March 15, 2023.
