Hikmet Sugoer sells 820 sneakers on eBay with his Archive Sale

Anyone who deals more intensively with sneakers in Germany cannot avoid Hikmet Sugoer. He is the architect of the German sneaker scene and the initiator of the Berlin sneaker culture. This makes him an absolute national hero for us and even beyond the German borders, Hikmet is known as a sneaker lover. You can imagine that “the man himself” has one or two pairs of shoes at home and if you consider how long he has been around, maybe one or the other pair too many. To be precise: 820 sneakers are too many. And he sells them exclusively on eBay . The Hikmet Archive Sale starts on February 1st at 6pm.

Hikmet has already done a lot: collaborations with adidas, New Balance, Asics, Nike, Puma, Reebok but also Rimowa or Smart. And even started his own brand: Sonra. Hikmet has now opened his archive for eBay and not only makes room for something new, but also gives his pre-loved boats the chance for a new love. The sweetest thing about the whole sales campaign: He wants to make it possible for his wife to finally have a studio in the house. Not only that, part of the proceeds also goes to the Strassenkinder e. V. in Berlin.

HOW DOES THIS WORK NOW?

Of course, Hikmet and eBay both know how to create excitement with us. That's why the Archive Sale won't just happen. No, we can look forward to five themed drops. And you shouldn't oversleep it. Because there is sure to be one or the other Grail for you. All brands are there, including Sonra, of course, lots of samples (!), exclusive collabs and long-forgotten releases. Here is the drop calendar:

The decision was not easy for us. The highlights released so far are awesome. There's a Jordan 4 from Kaws, the Ben & Jerry's Dunk, a pair of off-white "The Ten".
