Jacquemus Nike J Force 1 Low – first pictures of the new AF1 with woven details

Nike x Jacques. Actually our dream couple. Unfortunately, we weren't really convinced by the first design on the Nike Humara so far. But that didn't make us too sad because of course we assumed that Nike and Jacquemus would team up again. Now the time has come, there are first pictures of the new design. This time Simon Porte Jacquemus chose an Air Force 1 . However, the shoe has very little to do with a classic AF1, so the shoe is called Jacquemus Nike J Force 1 Low. The first Jacquemus Nike Air Humara didn't really convince us. The implementation fits Jacquemus' designs, but for us it's just too chic on the Nike Humara. We had wanted a shoe for a new collaboration that completely convinced us. However, we're not too sure about the Air Force 1 either, to say the least. The reason for this are the Footscape Woven elements, which we are now seeing more and more on Nike silhouettes, including the Union LA Jordan 1 High Woven . Why not go for a classic Footscape Woven and beautify the silhouette? Surely Nike attaches importance to pushing the woven concept because the Footscape Woven are coming back onto the market. But why then only take the woven woven elements, pass them on to collab brands and only indirectly push the silhouette? We do not know it.

But maybe it's just us and the rest of the world is celebrating the Jacquemus Nike J Force 1 Low, criticism aside. The J Force 1 comes in a white-on-white upper. But, as the first pictures show, there will also be an all-black J Force 1. As expected, the boot again comes with a mini Swoosh, which is now obviously becoming Jacquemus' trademark with Nike . The shoelace dubrae says "JF1" instead of "AF1". So far, so relaxed. The eye-catcher of the shoe is the sole. It is woven around the shoe in the typical woven character. The outsole comes in waffle gum style. This makes the sneaker look much flatter than the normal Air Force 1. And we don't like that at all. Maybe our opinion will change when we see the shoe on our feet, but we tend not to think so.

We don't know when exactly the Jacquemus Nike J Force 1 Low will come. It is currently said that the sneaker should come in June. However, we cannot confirm that yet.
