Stüssy and Nike are back together again. A new apparel collection is coming soon and two new Penny's. The Stüssy Air Penny 2 Black and the Vivid Green came a while ago. Now the rattan is coming on February 14th and soon the white Stüssy Nike Air Penny 2 “Fossil”. All information about the shoe can be found here in the article.
There's a bit of history here every now and then. Today to the Air Penny. For those who don't know what to do with the shoe at first: The Air Max Penny is the signature shoe of basketball player Penny Hardaway. He was one of the most celebrated players in the NBA in the 1990s. In 1995 he then released the first shoe with Nike, the Nike Air Max Penny 1. To date, the most sought-after shoe of all the models in the series. And now back to the Stüssy Penny.
THIS IS WHAT THE STÜSSY SNEAKER LOOKS LIKE
The Penny 2 comes in a completely beige/off-white canvas upper. The chunky round sole comes tone-on-tone. Only the Stüssy and Nike logos are accentuated in black. There really isn't much more to say about the shoe. We're fans of the collaboration and we like the silhouette. But the Stüssy Air Penny 2 Black is actually not sold out and is currently still bobbing in all sizes in the SNKRS app. Whatever the reason, the price of 199.99 euros is still halfway “okay”. Maybe it's just the extravagant silhouette.
