The Air Jordan models are perfect for storytelling. Nike knows that and keeps telling us good stories about your favorite silhouettes. This time it's about the Air Jordan 1 Mid Space Jam, which alludes to Michael Jordan's involvement in the 1996 fantasy film. But not only. All information about the colourway and the release can be found here in the article.
Of course, Jordan has THE colourways that are celebrated again and again. For example the Chicago or Bred or the Black Toes. But there are also some other colourways steeped in history that some may no longer have on their radar screens. Namely the Jordan 11 Space Jam. It came out in the mid 90s, designed by Tinker Hatfield. Of course, the inspiration comes from the then celebrated film with Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes, especially Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
THIS IS WHAT THE SNEAKERS LOOK LIKE
In terms of color blocking, this pair is almost exactly the same as its predecessor. Patent leather meets black smooth leather throughout the upper – both in deep black, exactly like its role model – the Jordan 11. The branding is also reminiscent of the OG, with a dark blue-purple Jumpman on the tongue. The design is rounded off with a white midsole and an icy, transparent outsole. Good shoe.
