*EDIT: November 10, 2022*
With the Tom Sachs x Nikecraft General Purpose, Tom Sachs effectively opposes sneaker culture. Which is totally fine because we think all brands should stock up here and there. Or if you should restock a popular silhouette more often. But that is rarely done, because the reseller prices then clearly go down. See the first colourway from the GPS. We have already shown you some new colourways. Now we have pictures of another one, in yellow and black. With this, Sachs makes true his announcement that the GPS should be a boring shoe for everyone. The upper is bright, like some models before, the laces and heel are black and the Swoosh is yellow. There is currently no release date, but of course we will keep you up to date. Below is a picture of the new colourway.
*EDIT: August 26, 2022*
The time has come! The second colorway from the General Purpose Shoe is coming. Namely the NikeCraft Tom Sachs GPS in Dark Sulfur. The colourway is coming worldwide on September 02, 2022. The highlight of this release: it is also available in other shops than nikecraft.com . This time you also have the chance in the SNKRS app and other shops. Check out our release calendar in the free Dead Stock App , there you will find all shops and raffles for the NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe Dark Sulfur . Here is the direct link to the release:
*EDIT: August 24, 2022*
The Tom Sachs x Nikecraft General Purpose Shoe continues to be teased in new colourways. The ordinary shoe for ordinary people should probably become the model that everyone should get on the Nike and Tom Sachs side. While we expected the shoe to be a little less exclusive, we didn't expect it to come in as many colourways. And we believe: there are still a few more to come. In addition to the four unpublished colourways from the article, there is now the brown GPS. And that's our highlight after the “OG” colourway.
Similar to the other colourways, the brown GPS comes in a mix of mesh, suede and leather. Tom Sachs branding is embossed behind the tongue, while the NikeCraft logo is found on the insole and rubber outsole. Good shoe! The colourway is also scheduled to appear this year, but we don't know when yet. We will keep you up to date.
“Ordinary Shoe for Ordinary People”. This is what the Nikecraft General Purpose shoe is called by the designer and Nike . Nevertheless, the absolute majority got nothing when it was released. That's why the announcement came a short time later that there should be a restock of the first colourway. Now pictures of a yellow and three other colors have also appeared. All information about the new releases can be found here in the article.
Of course, the first release of the General Purpose shoe was anything but “BORING” . Everyone wants a shoe from Tom Sachs and Nikecraft and that's why almost everyone got nothing. After the shoe was advertised as being “boring” and not defining you through your shoes (lol, if you look at the Mars Yard), we were pissed after the release. Both from marketing and stock. Well, we get a restock and apparently four more colourways. Let's see how the releases go.
THIS IS WHAT THE NEW COLOURWAYS LOOK LIKE
The yellow General Purpose Shoe (GPS) is very similar in design to the Mars Yard, although the yellow would have to go a little more towards brown to really resemble the Mars Yard 1:1. In each of the three other colourways, most of the upper is kept in neutral colors. Two of the models come with white mesh and suede, differentiated by the Swoosh and pull tabs. One model is black and red, the other red and orange. The gray variant completes the trio. Since the details are white and orange.
TOM SACHS x NIKECRAFT RELEASE DATE
Unfortunately, we don't know when exactly the new colourways of the Tom Sachs x Nikecraft General Purpose Shoe will come. Definitely this year. The release will definitely take place again at nikecraft.com . As soon as we have news about the release, you will find it in our release calendar or in the blog . Or download our free app and save your favorite releases. It's pretty easy and you'll always have all the information with just two clicks. Good luck with the next GPS release!
