Jaquemus x Nike Air Humara Pink - Release December 5th

Nike x Jacques. Actually our pairing of the year, at least in our dreams. We saw it coming and somehow expected something different. Don't get us wrong, we're celebrating the pieces from the latest collection. We also celebrate the shoe selection for the collaboration. But overall we weren't overwhelmed to slip into completely Denglish. The first two colourways of the Nike Humara came on June 28th. Now the Jaquemus x Nike Air Humara Pink is set to follow on December 5th. All information about the new colorway can be found here in the article.

For a long time there was speculation about the collaboration between Nike and Jaquemus, because initially only mood boards were published. Light Tones, Earth, Sport, Mini Swoosh, ACG. Nothing surprising, but totally fitting for Jaquemus. Although you also know that we briefly expected a Shox model. Anyway, in June there was clarity, there were first pictures of the Humara. The theme makes sense and suits Simon perfectly. It was foreseeable that there would be another colourway. Also that the cooperation will continue.

Simon Jaquemus took his favorite Nike shoe as inspiration for the collaboration, the Nike Air Humara. top silhouette But of course the model did not come in its usual form, it looks more noble. A little too classy for our taste. A lot of leather was also used for the third, pink colourway, suede and smooth leather. The gold mini Swoosh remains the highlight. This time the entire upper comes in typical Jacquemus bright pink. The details are again thought through with love and are simply beautiful. Even if Jaquemus' interpretation of the Nike Humara doesn't convince us 100 percent, we love him and look forward to every further design by him and Nike.
