Nike is always up to date! Founded in Oregon in 1964, the brand has eyes and ears everywhere and always moves with the times. The brand proved this once again in December 2021 by sparing no expense or effort to adopt the RTFKT brand. Founded in 2020, the company is pronounced Artefact and deals with digital collectibles that exist in the form of NFTs on the blockchain. The various pieces were previously only available online in various games and augmented reality.
In April 2022, Nike, together with the Metaverse fashion company, launched the first online collab that included different colourways of the popular Dunks. Now we can look forward to the first offline model. Following the release of the Air Force 1 Clone X Collection as a hybrid offering on August 31st, this is followed by a purely physical response. If you look at the leaked picture of Nice Kicks, the new sneaker literally screams for the future and sheds its classic look. The RTFKT Nike Adapt sneaker will be equipped with the innovative lacing and does without the standard Nike laces. We also look in vain for the Swoosh in the pictures, instead the RTFKT logo is emblazoned on the new design. We are looking forward to the official pictures!
