Gore-Tex Air Jordan 5 - first pictures

After just recently the Jordan 5 spring releases with colorways like the Green Bean the Air Jordan 5 now gets a water-repellent makeover. The new Gore-Tex Air Jordan 5 is reminiscent of the popular Infrared colorway and should be available later this year. If you are not yet familiar with the special features of Gore-Tex, here is some background information. The technology for the material is used by the company since 1976 and is not only water repellent, but also completely breathable! The membrane is about 20,000 times denser than a drop of water and thus manages to protect the body against water and wind, even in heavy rain or in standing water.

WHAT DOES THE NEW COLORWAY LOOK LIKE?

The new Gore-Tex Air Jordan 5 will be released in the colorway Off-Noir. In keeping with the name, the majority of the silhouette is dressed in the Off-Noir upper, made with Gore-Tex technology. The heel of the new Jordan features embroidered Gore-Tex lettering and the iconic 23 on both the inside and outside of the sneaker. The red details immediately catch the eye on the otherwise black sneaker. The highlight of the shoe is the 3M reflective silver tongue. The new Gore-Tex Air Jordan 5 is perfectly tuned for winter. Snow, rain and cold wind can not harm the silhouette and also the reflective tongue can show its full potential on the dark days. The vintage look sole completes the design.

WHEN WILL THE NEW JORDAN 5 BE AVAILABLE?

As teased at the beginning, the new Gore-Tex Air Jordan 5 will be released in December 2022. You can then try your luck via the Nike SNKRS App and at other selected retailers to try your luck.
