Pawnshop Skate Co. was founded by Anthony Piscopo in 2010 and has been serving skaters in Covina, just east of downtown LA. In addition to skate accessories and streetwear, the brand supports the local community with self-organized skate events, as the city unfortunately does not have its own skate parks. As you may have noticed, Pawnshop Skate had to cope with a big slump in 2020. A violent fire broke out inside the store, which reduced almost the entire store inventory to rubble and ashes. Fortunately, the skate brand was able to quickly get back to normal operations thanks to the active support of its existing customers. This action illustrates the standing of the store for the community. Now Nike would like to dedicate a Dunk High silhouette to the label and knocked on the door of the father of Nike SB Pro Skater Donovon Piscopo. You can read all information about the new Pawnshop Skate x Nike SB Dunk High in this article.
THIS IS THE NEW COLLABO
The new interpretation of the silhouette created by Peter Moore relies primarily on high-quality materials. The upper consists of a high-quality leather that covers the SB Dunk and looks almost black due to its intense, dark brown color. The color difference is only visible in contrast to the rich black laces. An exclusive highlight are the golden wing details that extend down the collar of the Dunks and harmonize perfectly with the golden Nike and Pawnshop branding on the tongue and the stitching of the Swoosh. The conclusion is a white midsole on a black rubber sole.
