Futura Off-White Nike Dunk Low - it's finally here

You heard me right! Finally the new Futura Off-White Nike Dunk Low will be released. The result of the collabo is expected to be released on no less than Virgil Abloh's birthday. The designer, who died in Chicago on November 28, 2021, is the founder of the Off-White label and gained international recognition primarily through his work at Louis Vuitton and continues to enjoy legendary status in the fashion industry. We were able to take a first look at the promising collaboration back in 2019, but we have had to be very patient since then. The collab manages to combine graffiti artist Futura's iconic college style with Virgil Abloh's signature off-white elements.

WHAT WILL THE FUTURA OFF-WHITE COLLABO LOOK LIKE?

The images of the colourways, which were initially published exclusively for the designer's Family and Friends, have been circulating on the internet since June 2019. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear how many different models are ultimately intended for us. According to our information, we can look forward to the classic blue/white UNC and orange/white Syracuse colorways. As already known from the previous models, this model will also be equipped with the classic zip ties next to the "SHOELACES" laces. The text block inside the Dunks, which is in the Helvetica font style, clearly shows Futura's graffiti influence. The upper is marked by several stains, as you know it from the shoes of the sprayers, on which the spray cans have unintentionally left their mark. A really very successful design that reflects both artists perfectly.
