Sacai Cortez - There are finally official pictures

*EDIT: July 11, 2022. *: We have been reporting on the Sacai Cortez for some time now. After we initially only had pictures from the runway show, we were able to show you more detailed pictures in April. Now there are official product images. Unfortunately, we still don't have an official release date. We stay tuned!

*EDIT: April 21, 2022.*: Some time ago we showed you the first pictures of the new Sacai Cortez. Chitose Abe showed off the new collab on her runway show. Now there are the first detailed pictures of the shoe. Unfortunately, we don't have any further information about the release date at the moment. However, we believe that it cannot last much longer.

You know we're huge fans of the Sacai and Nike collaboration. Here and there we find that the ideas have been pretty much run down lately, but we still celebrate our first green Nike LD Waffle like the first day. The first official pictures of the Sacai x Nike Cortez also make our hearts beat faster. All information about the release can be found here.

The Nike Cortez celebrates its 50th anniversary next year. Sacai is therefore not the only brand allowed to redesign the model. We have already shown you pictures of the Nike Cortez Union LA . We are absolutely delighted about the collaboration on the silhouette, because the Cortez has simply been forgotten and needs to be brought back into the limelight very quickly. The bot is great.

THIS IS WHAT THE SACAI CORTEZ LOOKS LIKE

As we already guessed in the first post, the Cortez by Sacai, or Chitose Abes, comes back with their proven design: double sole, two laces, two Swooshes. Although the Cortez doesn't resemble the approach of the LD Waffle, it actually combines two silhouettes. Our highlight is the air bubble in the front foot area. In terms of color, one Cortez is inspired by the OG: white, red, blue. The second colourway is navy and reminds us more of Fragment's signature blue. We are absolute fans and are really looking forward to the release.
