*EDIT: July 14, 2022. *: After 200 pairs of Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 were already auctioned via Sotheby's earlier this year, nine colorways are now coming to retail. And it will be in July, on the 19th to be exact. The collection comes via LouisVuitton.com. Prices range from $2,450 for the Low models to $3,450 for the Mids. Cheers. We keep our fingers crossed for everyone who has the cash for the AF1.
THE COLORWAYS ARE COMING
Nike and Virgil Abloh — rest in power — managed time and again to paralyze the fashion bubble with their designs. Especially last year at the SS22 Louis Vuitton show. We were shown 21 pairs of Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1s. So far 200 pairs have been sold to fans at a Sotheby's auction and eight colourways have been given away to Friends & Family. According to rumours, nine colourways are now going into retail. All info about the release of the AF1 can be found here in the article.
THIS IS WHAT THE AF1 LOOK LIKE
During the Louis Vuitton runway show last summer in Paris, 21 pairs of AF1s in the Louis Vuitton look were at the start. Including both Low and Air Force 1 Mids. The designs are immediately recognizable as Virgil Abloh's: the Off White x Nike look is also clearly reflected in the collaboration. The usual Off White Helvetica lettering on the laces is French here: “LACET”. The models are quite diverse in terms of materials. Of course, you can see the nine colourways that are to come right at the end of the article. But summarized here: green/white, gold/black/yellow/, all-white, all-black, blue/white, gold, red/white and two Air Force 1 Mid with Louis Vuitton pattern.
LOUIS VUITTON AIR FORCE 1 RELEASE
We are currently assuming that only selected Louis Vuitton customers will be able to buy the Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1. So if you absolutely want to have an Air Force 1 in an off-white/Louis Vuitton look, you are certainly dependent on resell platforms. Or you are a regular customer at LV. We exclude a release in the SNKRS app or shops. For other releases check our release calendar, blog or our free app . It's pretty easy and you'll always have all the information with just two clicks. We are sad about the release info of course, who wouldn't have loved to have such an Air Force 1 designed by Virgil Abloh?
