JJJJound x Reebok NPC II - first look

*EDIT: July 20, 2022. *: The JJJJound x Reebok NPC II is here, coming to Reebok in the US this month and internationally in early August. And the shoe is coming July 21st at jjjjound.com and then two weeks later we can try our luck at Reebok. We keep our fingers crossed for you, it will be almost impossible. JJJJound is currently one of the most popular collaboration partners in the sneaker bubble. And rightly so. Justin Sanders, the designer behind JJJJound, has an amazing talent for creating minimalist designs. We recently told you about the two Asics Gel Kayano 14 . Now we have the first pictures of another Reebok collab, namely the JJJJound NPC II. All information about the shoe can be found here in the article.

JJJJound and Reebok have already made several designs on different silhouettes. For example on the Club C and the Classic Nylon . When working together, the focus will definitely be on classics. That's why it doesn't surprise us that the NPC II was chosen this time. The icon from the 80s deserves a little more attention again. And who is best suited to take on this history-steeped silhouette? Right, nobody but Justin Sanders, or rather JJJJound.

THIS IS WHAT THE SNEAKER LOOKS LIKE

Not that much can be said about the design of the NPC II and that's a good thing. Because from JJJJound we are used to first-class, minimalist designs. As always, the silhouette comes with an upper made of white smooth leather. The sole is off-white. Instead of the typical Reebok logo on the outside and the British flag is the JJJJound logo. The laces are also white. There are no typical logos on the tongue and heel, there is no branding here, which makes the shoe look very valuable. As always, the inlay is made of terry cloth in a very light beige. The tongue is also beige. Overall a mega design, a shoe for every occasion. We like. We are simply fans of JJJJound and would love to have all designs in our closet. If only it were that easy to get one.
