Teddy Santi's New Balance 990 - first releases on May 26th

It was recently announced that Aime Leon Dore's founder —Teddy Santis — will become the new creative director for the New Balance "MADE in USA" collection. That didn't shock us. Aime Leon Dore and New Balance have been working together for a long time, and they've done it pretty well. It's about to start for us in Europe too, because the first three colourways from the Teddy Santis New Balance 990 series are due to arrive on May 26th.

When Santis' new job was announced, we immediately saw the first pictures of the upcoming collaboration. Namely in March by Santis himself. There will be a total of 16 pairs of the New Balance 990 series. Two from the 990v1, seven from the 990v2 and also seven from the 990v3. The US release is already in the works. Unfortunately we have to wait until the end of May.

With the 990 trio, in the relatively classic NB design, Santis' creative output now begins. He calls his color mix "Marblehead with Incense". The Aime Leon Dore founder was apparently inspired by the original version of the 996. All three sneakers come with a material mix of mesh, overlays made of suede and pigskin suede. Fine parts! The demand will certainly be huge.

NEW BALANCE 990 RELEASE DATE

The first three colourways of the Teddy Santis New Balance 990 hit Europe on May 26th. The prices vary between 210 and 230 euros. You can find all further information in our release calendar .
