Nike Air Max 1 Kasina - Release on June 8th

*EDIT: May 23, 2022. * A few weeks ago we first reported on the two Air Max 1 Kasinas. Now we already have a release date. The colourways will be available exclusively at Kasina on June 4th and in the SNKRS app on June 8th.

Two years ago, the Korean shoe and streetwear brand Kasina teamed up with Nike and offered the sneaker world two colourways on the Nike Dunk Low . This year we can once again look forward to a collaboration between the two brands. The Nike Air Max 1 Kasina will be released soon. All information about the shoe can be found here.

The design at that time was inspired by the bus system in Seoul and thus primarily attracted the attention of the residents of Seoul. However, the design has also caused enthusiasm internationally. We're curious to see if the Air Max 1 will be the same. But we are currently assuming it is. The Air Max 1 is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year and the demand for the model is increasing enormously, whether with or without the Kasina.

THIS IS HOW THE NIKE AIR MAX 1 KASINA LOOKS

The new Air Max comes in premium tumbled leather and suede. The color palette ranges from navy, maroon, orange and cream. Kasina brandings on the tongue and dubrae. The classic mini Swoosh has been embroidered to look like a flower. There is also a mandarin duck pendant. It is supposed to stand for the twin ducks that are given as a wedding gift in Korea. Reason: Mandarin ducks typically choose a mate for life. Since you cannot form a partnership with a colourway, everyone is currently assuming that there should also be a second colourway this time. The cream-colored midsole and an icy, transparent outsole complete the design of Kasina. Very good colourway.

AIR MAX 1 KASINA RELEASE DATE

The Nike Air Max 1 Kasina arrive on June 8th. For now, we're assuming the Air Max will only come to Kasino Shop in Seoul and SNKRS in South Korea.
