Air Jordan 1 High OG Newstalgia - Released on July 23rd

*EDIT: May 17, 2022. * Some time ago we told you about the Air Jordan 1 High OG Newstalgia. Now we have a final release date. On July 23rd you can buy the women's colourway.

A lot has happened at the Jordan 1 High in the last 36 years. We've seen a few hundred colourways and variations of Air Jordan's most popular silhouette. But the creative team at Nike, or rather Air Jordan, has certainly not yet implemented all the ideas. Good for us, we can still enjoy new colors on the best silhouette. Now the Air Jordan 1 High OG Newstalgia is scheduled to be released on July 20th. All information about the shoe can be found here.

THIS IS WHAT THE JORDAN 1 NEWSTALGIA LOOKS LIKE

The first pictures of the Newstalgia have been around for a while. The main reason for this is that the release has either been postponed several times, or the sneaker rumor mill was simply misinformed. Initially it was said that the colourway would come in February, then in April and now it seems certain. The shoe is supposted to release in July. Unfortunately, Nike "only" brings the Newstalgia in women's and children's sizing. You know our opinion: Nike, please make every shoe in all sizes in the future, at least for adults. Thanks.

The first pictures, although not official, suggest that the Jordan 1 High comes in a color block of red and white on the upper. However, small elements around the ankle and the tongue are kept in a very, very light grey. In the pictures the laces are red, but we assume that there will be at least one other color. Certainly grey or white. The highlight of the colouray is the red chenille Swoosh, which contrasts beautifully with the smooth leather. Cool design, although red is not our favorite colour.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Newstalgia arrives on July 23rd. You can then buy the shoe at your favorite shop or with a little luck at Nike SNKRS .
