The Nike Air Max 1 Skunk is set to release on April 20th

This year we celebrate the Air Max 1 35th birthday. No wonder that Air Max Day 2022 is all about the first Air Max. But also for April 20th, or rather 4/20, a special Air Max 1 is supposed to release. The first pictures of the Nike Air Max 1 Skunk have appeared and it is supposed to celebrate our second favorite holiday. All information about the shoe can be found here.

We love April 20th and absolutely adore Nike celebrating this rather unofficial holiday with us every year. So far we already know that Nike will bring the Dunk Fruity Pack and now the AM1 will also come with in the Dunk Skunk look. Some might not know this: the new colorway is obviously inspired by the Nike SB Dunk High Skunk , which came out in 2010 and is still celebrated today. Let's take a closer look at the new Nike Air Max .

Of course, the new colourway doesn't look 1:1 like the old Dunk, but it comes very close. Mainly because of the deep green and violet suede on the upper. It's not quite as wild as the dunk, but the similarity is hard to miss. The rest of the upper comes in beige mesh and light-colored smooth leather. The biggest difference is that there is unfortunately no stash pocket. The laces come in dark green for an outdoor look. Absolutely beautiful Air Max . We are looking forward to the release.
