First pictures of the Jordan 5 Low Doernbecher appeared

Some of you probably know the Doernbecher x Nike collections. The collaboration has raised more than $30 million for OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Oregon since 2004. The 18th collection will be officially launched on February 25th. But as always, something leaked. Namely the Jordan 5 Low Doernbecher. The Jordan 5 was designed by 11-year-old Michael Wilson. A total of seven children are taking part in this year's Doernbrecher Freestyle Collection. The other six are Ayman Wamala, Catalina Vasquez, Cidni O'Brien, Maylee Phelps, Sam David Phelps and Zoe Taaffe. You can see the kids below. Michael suffers from Krabbe's disease, a congenital and severe metabolic disease. The design is inspired by Michael's love of airplanes, sharks and mac and cheese. Take a quick look at his “business card” for yourself. We (well, the author of the article) think sharks suck, but we all think mac and cheese is great too.

YOU CAN FIND THE LATEST NIKE RELEASES HERE

Here and there we find little macaroni on the Jordan 5 , on the blue toe box in yellow and the fat shoelace tag. Additional details include interchangeable patches so we can all wear the botte however we like. The laser eyes on the mesh on the outsole of the shoe reflect Michael's favorite superpower. We also find "Take Flight" branding on the side, additional tabs on the heel and Michael's initials "MDW" on the heels. And of course a colorful inlay and the transparent outsole should not be missing. cute af

As previously mentioned, the collection will be officially launched by OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital on February 25th. We can't say when the Jordan 5 Low Doernbecher will finally come.
