Summer, which was practically absent in Germany this year, is slowly giving way to autumn. For our favorite brands, this means that they are turning to other materials and colors again. Nike starts right off and introduces the Nike Air Force 1 Toasty. A material mix at its finest. All the info is in this post.
Didn't we all try to tell our parents that Air Force are super cool winter shoes? We definitely did it and didn't fail. Viewed soberly, we weren't all that wrong. The relatively high sole does not freeze your feet quite as quickly as other models. Nike thinks so too and offers us a new Air Force 1 Low for the winter. In a toasty look. This makes the silhouette number three in the “Move To Zero” campaign. For those who don't know, the campaign includes shoes made from recycled raw materials.
Let's take a closer look at the Air Force. First of all, the mix of materials is a dream: suede, fleece, mesh. The colourway is simply grey. The upper is made of lighter gray suede and the toebox and side panels are made of darker mesh. The inlay comes in wintry fleece. A fat Nike Swoosh is embroidered on the heel – our highlight. The outsole is dark green-grey and its small white particles indicate the recycled rubber. On the tongue tag is the beloved Pinwheel logo.
Unfortunately we don't have a release date for you yet. Due to the nature of the material, we estimate that it may take a while and that the Nike Air Force 1 Toasty will only be available to us on even colder days. The price should be around 110 euros.
