J Balvin Air Jordan 2 - official pictures

*EDIT: July 11, 2022. * Last year we already told you about the J Balvin Air Jordan 2. After constantly new images were teased, we now finally have official images of the Jordan 2. In fact, only the Jordan logo on the tongue glows on the pictures, whether that means adss the outsole but not with LED's glows, we can not say yet. Check out the pictures for yourself. The sneaker is expected to arrive sometime in October. As soon as we know more, you will find all the news here in the post.

The Colombian superstar, J Balvin, - by the way on place 12. of the most streamed artists:inside on Spotify - was once again allowed to lay hands on a Jordan. Some may remember the insanely colorful Jordan 1. Now, in keeping with the 35th anniversary of the silhouette, the rapper has picked the Jordan 2 Retro High, so we'll soon have the J Balvin Air Jordan 2. After we saw Virgil Abloh's interpretation of the Jordan 2 Low and shortly after the Jordan 2 High from Union LA, it was clear that there must be more to come. Nike does not miss an anniversary, even if the silhouette is not the most popular. We're surprised the collaborations aren't coming to light until this late in the year. Is this due to the global supply bottlenecks? The Union LA Jordan 2 Gray Fog should actually come this year...

THIS IS WHAT THE SHOE LOOKS LIKE

J Balvin has sent us the first pictures of the design in person on IG shown to us. We can't see much, certainly on purpose, because we see the most important detail very well. The Jordan 2 doesn't just glow in the dark, no, it's equipped with LED lights. You can let the shoe or the outsole shine according to your taste if you want. The whole thing can be controlled at the push of a button. We've never seen that on a Jordan before. In fact, the Jordan logo also glows in the dark. The rest of the shoe looks quite light and calm in the picture. The upper looks padded. We are curious. And hope very quietly that the Jordan 2 won't be quite as colourful. The designs will be available in family sizing.
