We recently told you about the pretty fat re-release of the Free Run 2.0 series. It goes on, Nike is very serious and introduces us to more colourways: The Nike Free Run 2 Fossil/Pure Platinum is coming.
10 years ago almost everyone had Nike Free Runs. Even our parents walked around with the Free's and still do here and there today. The Nike Free series has become an absolute essential and camps of the respective models have formed. You remember 2.0, 3.0 etc. Back then, the runners really became an absolute must-have.

Nike surprised us at first with two models ( black and white ) and is now adding a third colourway. Now comes the color – for Free Run models – rather calm, the Fossil Stone/Pure Platinum/Wolf Grey. The silhouette returns to the shelves without any changes: the overlay comes in the usual characteristic cage construction made of thick beige suede, which wraps over the breathable, light gray mesh base. The sole construction, this time off-white, and cushioning come back just like they did back then. The Swooshes are slightly enlarged, but also on the back of the heel as usual.
We're still surprised and still couldn't place the re-release. But the info is definitely making waves and many of you are extremely excited about the re-release.
There is currently no official release date for the Nike Free Run 2 Fossil/Pure Platinum. The guys from the release department are responsible for that. But definitely still this year and for about 100 euros in the usual shops. If you're super into the “cult” cushioning of the 2010s, keep an eye on the release calendar or our free Deadstock app . You're guaranteed not to miss a release that interests you.
