How does the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner perform?

After we have received repeated messages in recent weeks with the question "How does the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner actually turn out? reached, we wanted to try to clarify all questions about the sizing of the Foam Runner with this blog post.

When we first bought the Yeezy Foam Runner , we really messed up the size. At the first drop (here in Germany) we assumed that the silhouette works quite normally with the adidas size chart. Wrong thinking, because the Foam Runner has its very own size chart - and you have to pay attention to this if you want "slippers" to fit you.

HOW DOES THE FOAM RUNNER TURN OUT!?

Based on our example of the US 12, it is noticeable that the sizes are different than normal adidas sneakers:

US 12 / UK 12 / FR 47 / JP 305 / CHN 290

This means that you cannot assume your normal size when buying the Foam Runner , but always have to go up at least one size. For comparison: I wear a US 11.5 in the Ultra Boost, just like in the adidas Superstar or the 700 Yeezy. In the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner, however, I wear a US 12. So the Foam Runner fits me perfectly.

FYI: I have personally tried a US 11, but it was much too small for me.

WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO KNOW ABOUT THE FOAM RUNNER!?

The Yeezy Foam Runner is the first model from the Yeezy franchise to be produced in the United States of America. The upper - the shoe is made of two parts - is made of seaweed while the sole is made of EVA foam. Both components are completely recyclable and therefore environmentally friendly. So Kanye does at least a little something for the environment, which isn't bad at first.
