Rumors in the scene often turn out to be false. This was also the case in 2017, when it was said that there would be a Nike Air Jordan 1 Bred with a patent finish. But that obviously doesn't mean that the model will never appear. Recently teased as a mock-pp, things are now getting more serious: The Air Jordan 1 Patent Bred is scheduled to come out this year, in October. We have summarized everything important for you.

OG Jordan releases get most hearts pounding pretty fast. That will certainly be the case with the model. The Patent Bred, as the name suggests, comes in the same colorway as its big brother, just with a full patent overlay. The color blocking comes in the classic red and black. Midsole in white, outsole in red. According to other media reports, there should be a small difference: there should be a "Family" lettering on the inside of the shoe, which is reminiscent of the first release. However, we have not been able to verify this based on the on-feet pictures from @fxxkvlogvi .

We're always happy about Retro OG's, even if we're not too keen on the all-over paint. But no matter how we find it, either way, the Air Jordan 1 Patent Bred will be very hard to come by. A release is currently assumed to be October 23rd, but there is still no official confirmation for that either. If you've always wanted to own a Lack Bred, you've got to get going.
