Virigil Abloh and Nike have been a little quieter for the past few months. There was a small restock of the Converse Chuck Taylor 70 in April, but apart from the book release not much has happened. But now the rumor mill is bubbling again, because the OFF-WHITE Air Force 1 University Gold is supposed to be released in July. We have summarized all the information for you.
The first pictures of the new colorway appeared in March. The Air Force 1 is definitely one of Virgil's favorite silhouettes. So far there have been five colourways, although the design has not always been the same. The University Gold is definitely the same as the University Blue , as most will probably remember. However, there are a few small differences.
The design is pretty much tone-on-tone this time. Even the laces and the lace tag come in University Gold, that's new. The Swoosh in the usual silver. Classic Air lettering and Helvetica text on the inside in black.

If the rumors are to be believed, the release of the OFF-WHITE Air Force 1 University Gold coincides with the start of Virgil's new exhibition in Boston. It's supposed to start in July, so we're currently assuming a release in July.
