Attention Jordan freaks! Pictures of the Nike Air Jordan 1 AJKO Chicago have been circulating for a long time. It was briefly said that a release in January is expected. But nothing happened. Five months later: it's May and we have a fixed release date and first pictures for you!
Anyone who has a heart for Jordans knows how high the heart beats when the “Chicago” colourway is discussed. We're not talking about the OG Chicago from 1985, but about the little Canvas brother that saw the light of day a year later, in 1986. There was a retro release seven years ago and a second in 2021. So if you are still desperately looking for a good retro Jordan, the AJKO is the right choice.
Why was there a similar Chicago release back then, a year later? After the OG Jordan 1985 – and unfortunately still today – brought a lot of fakes with it, Nike quickly considered releasing its own knock-off, with success. We don't have to say much about the colourway, classic: red, white and black. Just made of canvas and white heel. As usual, the pair is provided with the AJKO logo. The midsole is of course white and the ousole comes in red. As it should be.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 AJKO Chicago is scheduled to be released on May 12th at Nike for 140 euros. We assume that the release will not be easy. But we are at your side for that. The final shop list is available online in the release calendar or in the free Dead tock app . If you don't have it yet, it's your own fault.
