In the last few days, some pictures of Nike ‘s new First Use collection have surfaced. The common thread: the day the Nike Swoosh became a trademark. So far we've seen the images of three different Air Force 1's, an SB Blazer and a 90's Air Max. We show you our favorite, the Nike Air Force 1 First Use University Red.
The Air Force 1 is one of Nike's most popular models and shouldn't be missing in a pack like this. There are three models in the collection so far, the University Blue and the University Gold. We're showing you the University Red today because we particularly like the colourway.

The whole collection pays homage to the Nike Swoosh, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Let's take a closer look. The Nike Air Force 1 First Use University Red comes in a very pleasant light color combination of cream, beige and red. Part of the toe box and a center panel come in all smooth creamy leather. The border of the toe box, the panels around the laces and the heel area are made of beige suede. The seam on the midsole and the heel tag in red. Special highlight: on the heel and the tongue logo we find the Nike logo from 1971 – we like. The Swoosh is embroidered in a shade of gray and underneath reads: First use June 18, 1971. The laces come in a thicker material than usual and are embellished with a gold Swoosh lace tag.
We think the colourway is great and look forward to the release of the First Use collection. We don't have an exact date yet, but we assume June. If you're celebrating University Red as much as we are, keep an eye on our release calendar or our app. Of course, this applies to the entire collection.
