Since last year, adidas has given us a mega collaboration per letter of the alphabet with the A-ZX series. For example, we remember collaborating on the Q with Highsnobiety recently. The letter N was all about the national parks in America and brought the ZX 5000 Joshua Tree to the shelves. However, our friends from Herzogenauchrach occasionally have a second ace up their sleeve and are now bringing us back an N model: the adidas ZX 10.000C Crater Lake . We have summarized all the information for you here.
The first collaboration with the National Parks Foundation was inspired by Joshua Tree Park. This time the object of desire is Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.
The various shades of blue, from pastel to dark blue, made from a wide variety of materials, are reminiscent of the crater lake. The gray color palette symbolizes the mountains surrounding the lake. The salmon-colored details round off the colourway. On the tongue, the classic adidas logo is replaced with a small patch depicting the crater lake, pine trees and mountains. By the way, the model is also quite waterproof thanks to its upper material made of CORDURA® nylon.
adidas does not yet have an official release date for the ZX 10.000C Crater Lake. But we are assuming May 22nd. The cost is probably around 140 euros. It will definitely find its way onto the virtual shelves in well-known shops and the CONFIRMED app.
