Revered in art circles for his modern sculptures, Tom Sachs is at least as influential in the sneaker world as he is among his fellow artists. The reason for this is the Nike Mars Yard, a sneaker that was basically intended for space but is practically used for everyday commuting. With the Nike Overbreak Mars Yard, a similar model is now coming onto the market, which we would like to inform you about in this article.
The Mars Yard legend began in 2012. It was then that the Mars Yard debuted in this eye-catching colourway, which combined earth brown and beige tones with a touch of red on the Swoosh. Since then, exactly this colourway has been used again and again on Nike sneakers and other products and is slowly becoming a classic in Nike history.
So far, and we really have to admit, the colorway has never paired with a boot as well as it did with the Nike Overbreak Mars Yard, which will already be released in Europe this week. The Overreact sole in particular rounds off the shoe really well and gives the whole silhouette a tiny little “space touch”.
