Nike doesn't get tired and presents us with the Nike SB Dunk Camcorder, another hammer from the Nike SB range.
While we've seen many shops tell a really good story with their collab over the last few weeks and months, Nike SB is now going back to the roots of skateboarding.
With the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low, Nike reflects on the traditions of street sports and says that an important source of inspiration is the VX1000 camcorder from the 90s.
The handheld device has been a fixture in skateboarding circles since Sony released the camera in 1995. And although the technology is relatively outdated compared to today's devices, skaters have remained unwaveringly loyal to this product for its reliability and perfect fit. The camera feels good in hand, is durable and the round fisheye is the perfect look for skateboarding videos.
The shoe has various details reflecting the specifications of the VX1000, with the colors of a traditional stop and pause button on the eyelets, a green color on the heel and other details typically only seen on the camcorder.
The Nike SB Dunk camcorder will only be available in Skatshops and will be exclusive to Asia and Europe/UK. A US release was canceled due to production issues.
