As a new edition of the iconic 574, the development from classic to contemporary is already evident in the design of the 57/40, which represents a slimmer silhouette and was combined with technology from the 80s and 90s.

The classic nylon upper with a suede overlay has been given signature black and white paint splatters by Joshua Vides.

Inspired by his own paint and mud splattered New Balance shoes, Vides' design is a reminder that an artist does real hands-on work at work.
