The Air Jordan 7 celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2022 and is expected to appear in a handful of original colors throughout the year. In addition to some popular styles, the 1992 design is also expected in modern colorways such as a newly emerged "Sapphire" model. At first glance, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a '90s Nike ACG aesthetic, while a sand-like base sets the stage for bright purple and pink detailing on the tongue, heel and liner. Midfoot and collar panels deviate from standard construction, favoring a semi-transparent mesh construction that not only accentuates the aforementioned hues but propels the Air Jordan line into years to come. Underfoot, the trusted sole unit employs a muted greyscale arrangement, although the geometric shapes of the outsole revel in some of the bold tones found above.
