As we have all noticed in the last few months, Nike has decided to increasingly rely on the tartan material. The Air Jordan 1 Mid Tartan Swoosh started a few months ago. Several models have been announced for January that use this checkered material in their silhouette. This row includes an Air Force 1 Low and a Dunk Low. The pack is now complemented by a brown plaid Air Force 1, which has opted for a beige brown plaid pattern.

The sneaker's upper is made mostly of tumbled leather, with the tread spikes opting for a pebbled style that contrasts with the surroundings in a clean off-white. The labels on the tongue and upper heel follow this style, as does the often imitated midsole. Brown accents divide the sole and forgo the checkered print that livens up the Air Force 1's lower heel.
