Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 High OG - first pictures

That's right, a new Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 High OG has been spotted. Nigel Sylvester has long been known not only as a professional BMX rider. After the New York native worked with Nike for the first time in March 2014, further collabs soon followed. With this collaboration, Sylvester managed to open the door for many more joint projects, because the Dunk High SOMP is the first ever collabo with a Nike SB rider.

His next project followed four years later with the Nike Air Jordan Brand. This collaboration is a symbol of the dedication and ambition of the 35-year-old. Each of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro OG was individually designed and hand finished by him, giving the impression that he has ridden BMX with the respective sneaker. A similar design is known from skated SB dunks or models equipped with a tear away upper or similar. On October 11th, the BMX rider, who has been an official member of Nike Air Jordan since last fall, was spotted wearing an unreleased Jordan 1 High OG. In line with the publication of his book about his career, he wears his first pair of Jordans, which he designed. Together with his desire to be more creative again, the assumption about a new Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 High OG is particularly obvious.

THE AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH OG

The new Jordan has a black upper made of smooth leather, which, in addition to the classic white Swoosh on the mid-panel, has a small embroidered Swoosh on the outer toe box. A golden Nike Air Jordan logo can be found on the heel of the sneaker. The Nike Air branding on the tongue is colored in the same shade of red as the rubber sole and together with the midsole completes the Jordan 1 with a vintage look.
