Air Force 1 Carabiner Iridescent - second colourway

The Air Force 1 is the absolute icon in the sneaker world. This year she will be 40 years old. So it's no wonder that Nike spares no effort in serving up one highlight after the other this year. We recently showed you the first pictures of the Nike Air Force 1 Carabiner. Now a black colourway has emerged, the Air Force 1 Carabiner Iridescent. The mother of the Air Force 1 Low, the Hi version was released in 1982. The low version followed a year later. In 1984, Nike discontinued the shoe and made room for other boots. The fans of the silhouette were massively disappointed and so Nike decided in 1986, for the first time in their history, to bring a shoe back to the shelves as a retro shoe. The most important development in Air Force 1 history, however, came sometime later in the '90s with the introduction of the white-on-white AF-1 Low. Exactly 40 years later, on his birthday, it's still about him, just today with a carabiner.

The new design is really impressive. The upper comes with a classic black leather upper. Some details like the logo on the heel and the tongue come in neon yellow. The Swoosh inside and the lower outside blue. The outsole is white. The most important detail is of course the Swoosh on the outside. Hanging over the small blue Swoosh is a Swoosh-style carabiner that looks like anodized metal. The Swoosh is held in place with classic loops in an outdoor look.

We don't yet know when the Air Force 1 Carabiner Iridescent will come. But it is supposed to be coming in the next few weeks.
