CDG Air Max 97 official images

*EDIT: September 7th, 2022*: At the beginning of the year we already told you about the two new CDG Air Max 97. A few days ago official pictures finally appeared. Check them out at the bottom of the post. Unfortunately, we don't know when exactly the 97s are supposed to come. But it won't be too long now. As soon as we have more information about the release date and price, we will of course let you know immediately. By the way, the 2022 Silver Bullet Air Max is coming soon. Comme de Garcons and Nike are old hands when it comes to collaborations. And if we're honest, the station wagon is one of our favorites. The two brands always manage to launch incredibly nice designs. At the Fall/Winter 2022 Runway Show, the brand just presented its next project. Namely two CDG Air Max 97. All information about the two colourways can be found here in the article.

Nike and CDG almost always have something in the pipeline. Only recently came Nike Air Foamposite . However, it was so expensive that demand was much lower than actually expected. We're also still eagerly awaiting the CDG x Nike Air Sunder Max , which is hopefully coming soon in Spring/Summer. And hopefully not that expensive. We are less surprised that the choice has now fallen on an Air Max 97 . The Air Max 97 Silver Bullet is supposed to come back this year. What actually surprises us a little this time is the color choice. Rei Kawakubo's designs always come in black and white. Always two pairs, always two suits. It's the same this time, but one Air Max 97 isn't white, it's more of a grey-blue. But we are always open to new things.

THIS IS WHAT THE SNEAKERS LOOK LIKE

Both Air Max 97s are fairly understated compared to older designs, but the beauty here is clearly in the details. At first glance, the leather looks like suede, but it is smooth leather with a noticeable patina. The classic round shoelaces look like cords here and give the shoes a super high-quality look. We're definitely celebrating the CDG x Nike Air Sunder Max more, but the two Air Max 97s are sure to look sexy as fuck on the foot, too.

CDG AIR MAX RELEASE DATE

We can't say exactly when the two CDG Air Max 97 will come. Definitely in autumn/winter 2022. As always, the bots will be very hard to come by.
