New Balance 57/40 Refined Future: The Protection Pack sequel

The New Balance 2002R's Refined Future aka Protection Pack just came out recently. The release has inspired some and even moved some to buy a pair of 2002R's for a long time. And some got nothing. There's good news for those, because the New Balance 57/40 Refined Future is coming soon.

The colors, implementation and design of the Protection Pack were and are simply great. We are totally celebrating the colourways and are absolutely looking forward to implementing it on a different silhouette. The 57/40 is a very different model than the 2002R, with a much heavier sole. But we find the whole thing very interesting.

The overlay also comes with a nylon base and a mix of jagged suede overlays. The contrast is again provided by the red branding on the tongue and a blue element on the back of the heel.

There is currently no release date and no indication of further colourways. However, we hope and believe that the New Balance 57/40 Refined Future will also come in all three colourways.
