CLOT x Nike x Sacai LD Waffle - Released on September 11th

Sacai and her design threesomes - we've covered them before. Recently the Sacai x Fragment came out and the Sacai x Undercover is still in the queue. Next we expect the CLOT x Nike x Sacai LD Waffle. All information about the shoe and release can be found here.

For those who don't know: Clot is a brand from Hong Kong and was founded in 2003 by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon. Since then they've collaborated with pretty much every wacky brand from Asia and the giants like Nike, adidas and Coca-Cola. This time they have teamed up with Chitose Abe from Sacai . Similar to the Undercover and Fragment collab, the color inspiration for the new Waffle comes from Clot. Some may remember Clot's Kiss of the Death Air Max and see certain parallels.

Parts of the overlay come in a see-through upper. The whole thing is accentuated with the classic (suede) leather overlays. Familiar details include stacked tongues, Swooshes and laces. The logos of the two brands can be found as co-branding on the tongue tag and the heel. Overall a very loud implementation of the waffle. We absolutely love the see-through upper and are excited to see how the shoe looks when we hold it in our hands.
